Neuro Probe was founded in the late 1960’s with an initial focus on the development and manufacture of chronic stereotactic equipment. In 1980, the 48-well microchemotaxis chamber was developed, in collaboration with Dr. Edward Leonard and Dr. Werner Falk working at the National Institutes of Health. This chamber has become a standard in the field and has served as a basis for the development of many new products. Most recently introduced is the ChemoTx® system.
